First time recording and export using Audacity 1.3.12-beta. Windows 7 OS. Exported as MP3. Unsuccessful playback with message ""Can't open your project file. You are using Audacity 1.2.6 - you need to upgrade to a newer version to open this file."

Uninstall Audacity 1.2
then re-install Audacity 1.3.12 as an administrator. (use the Windows .exe installer version for Windows 7 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows )
