Hi, hope someone can help me.
I installed Audacity 1.2 on windows xp and now my peakers don't work. I uninstalled the program and the speakers worked fine, but when I reinstalled Audacity 1.2, no sound from the speakers again. I have checked and double checked my settings with no luck in fixing this problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: speakers not working
You missed a step in the middle. Are you trying to record a USB turntable or other USB device like a cassette player? Sometimes Windows tries to record from the player and mistakenly sends the show audio out there, too, instead of the speakers.
