Just downloaded Audacity 1.2.6 for Windows XP.
Works fine but I don't have the option to Export as .WAV files? It's not in the file menu at all.
I re installed it and still nothing. The file absolutely has to be WAV for the work I'm doing. MP3 or OGG etc won't do.
Here's what my file menu looks like.
I'm seriously confused. Any Help?

get 1.3.x
1.2 is obsolete now and not really supported
go down the drop down list and choose wav
but you may have to set the sample rate to 44.1 and bits to 16 to see this option - could that be why the option doesn't show in 1.2 ???

Fixed it.
Needed to choose WAV as the preferred uncompressed format in Preferences. I really should have spotted that earlier.
Thanks for the help anyways.
