I'm frustrated - who can I pay to make it work?

Post by JayFromBoston » Wed Jun 09, 2010 11:03 pm

I use Audacity at my job and it works fine there. I can play something through my soundcard and record it to an mp3 file perfectly. At home it's another story. I just bought a new Dell laptop for home... downloaded Audacity but cannot do it here at home. WHO CAN I PAY TO FIX THIS?

I was afraid you were going to say that - Windows 7 is not very helpful for recording, but there is a page on the Audacity wiki that covers most of the issues.
For Windows 7 you need to use Audacity 1.3.12.
