Line in lost with HD Audio

Hello!
I'm totally new to the forum, and i have only little problem - and not for me - only this is what i opened this new topic for. I need a solution for a simple problem.
One of my friends has a Realtek HD Audio codec on his motherboard. He used Audacity to record sounds from Internet Radios or Internet TV's. He can't do this since he has his motherboard (AM2NF3) with HD audio. (He doesn't speak English, this is why i ask this question).
I know that if the HD audio chipset is in 5.1 mode, only the microphone input is active at the rear connector panel. Audacity (i think) in this case can show a Line In source, which means, if you are recording from it, records the sound what the computer is currently playing. Now, he hasn't got a Line In source in his Audacity, and he can't record anything. Howewer, there isn't a Line In on the Volume Control Panel, too. All of this happened under XP SP2
. Other sound featires (playback
) are OK.
Please someone tell me what can we do with this problem, and record voices.
Thanks a lot
