Hi,
I have a problem with audacity. When I load an audio file, the program loads only 1 or 2 seconds but it doesn't load the first 1 or 2 second of the audio file. I think that it transforms a 2 minute file into a 2 second file. I don't know if you understand what I am trying to say. Sorry, my English is not very good.

Re: Problem
If you are importing a file format that isn't supported by Audacity 1.2, or the file is protected by the program that created it, that will happen.psarrianos wrote:I have a problem with audacity. Either
- use some other program to convert the file to WAV then import the WAV into Audacity
- record the file into Audacity (you will lose some quality)
- or use Audacity Beta and add FFmpeg to your computer - FFmpeg will allow Audacity to import more formats.

Re: Problem
psarrianos was (he said) opening an audio file. Audacity will only let you open an .aup project file from File > Open or File > Recent files at the moment. If you Project > Import Audio an .aup file, or drag it in, you'll get an error rather than a shorrt piece of noise.jerrydixon wrote:Make sure the file you are opening has the extension ".aup"
