Downloading

I want to use this program on a computer that is not connected to the internet. Can I do this? How?
Download it while you are connected to the internet, for example at work. Get the zip version (scroll further down the download page) if you are not allowed to download installers. Download the program to a USB stick or burn it to a data CD, then load the program onto the computer that does not have an internet connection by dragging the zip file or installer from the CD or USB stick.halfbreed13 wrote:I want to use this program on a computer that is not connected to the internet. If you are on Windows you can purchase an inexpensive CD from a few third-party sources that includes Audacity with other free open-source software. You may also be able to buy CDs of Audacity from eBay but we don't encourage that and you do that at your own risk.
