Hello: I have this one classical music song that I use to relax, I recorded the quietest parts of it, so it would be smooth al the way thru
Anyway I managed to record almost 30 minutes of it and I am using the Repeat button on Windows Media Player 11 to record from (so it would record the full 60 minutes, and what I want to do is recorded it using audacity and make it an hour long so I can put it on a cd and use it near the bed.
The only problem I have is I have a built in mic on top of the monitor and it picks up me talking while audacity is recording.
There is a check mark in the box for Mute Mic, but it does not make a difference
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can stop the monitor from picking up the outside sounds and still have the sound go into audaciy? Thanks

Re: Mic On Monitor Problem
Is that an audio file on your computer such as a WAV file, an MP3 or a WMA file? If it is, what sort of file is it? (right click on the file, select "Properties" and look at the "Advanced" properties).tomsaud wrote:I have this one classical music song that I use to relax,
If it's not an audio file, what is it?
