Hi there. I have downloaded audacity and I am trying to install it on my pc. When I click on the audacity installer icon on my desktop, a message box appears prompting me to choose which language to use. First, I chose 'English' and clicked the 'OK' button on the message box. This immediately caused my pc to restart. The same happened when choosing another language. I tried all other available versions of audacity, but it's always the same: as soon as I click that 'OK' button, the system restarts.
My operating system is Windows 2000. I don't think the problem is caused by a virus, since I have no problems with other programs and I do a daily full security scan.
What am I doing wrong??
