Exporting Multiple Files
When attempting to utilize the 'Export Multiple Files' functionality, I get the message, "Cannot export audio to C:UsersNickAJTrk1.wav". I've done this before and haven't experienced this problem. I've tried changing the destination, the destination file name, reidentifying the tracks, etc. to no avail. The 'project' consists of various recordings from 78 rpm records broken down into multiple files by using 'tracks'. I was able to export it as a single WAV. file but not as multiple files. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Exporting Multiple Files
You may be paying attention to the wrong part of the error message.
Carefully save and close everything. Open up a fresh Audacity, set the preferences for 48000, 16 bit (video standard) and restart. Download the Piano Trill from here:

Open this clip, set two or three labels anywhere, and see if Export Multiple... starts working. The destination and process may be in perfect health and your project could be broken.

Re: Exporting Multiple Files
Thanks for the prompt reply however I tried what you suggested and got the same message. In my project, I ended up selecting each track and uploading them separately which while awkward, was successful. You indicated that my project could have been broken. Any suggestions as to what could have caused that? I may be starting another project today and will try to make sure I follow each of the Audacity process steps in hopes that I can identify what I may have down wrong.

Re: Exporting Multiple Files
If "Piano Trill" will not multiple export from a clean Audacity start, then I wouldn't start a new project until you fix this. Something is broken and it probably isn't the original project.
<<<I was able to export it as a single WAV. file but not as multiple files.>>>
That's what's killing me. It can't be a drive space issue (I think) because the one big file export would have failed.
You're close to Stump The Band time......
Do you have a filename collision? Audacity tries to Multiple Export by adding -1, -2, -3 to the existing filenames. If one of those already exists, Audacity will not be able to continue. Another remote one. Do you like to put spaces and punctuation marks in your filenames? Most computers hate that a lot.
The.Music, Man/ Broadway?.wav [bad]
TheMusicMan_Broadway.wav [good]

Export Selection as Wav... ?
