Hi!
I'm new to Audacity and I have a problem.
I have opened a project and imported three wav-files that I appended so I have ended up as one long stereo track.
My problem is when I apply any effect the sound disappeared from big parts of the track.
5 s of music + 1 min 5 s of silence + 20 s of music + 50 s of silence ....and so on
Any ideas of what is wrong?

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Effect problem
Do you know that all the sound clips were of the same data standard and did they match the Audacity Preferences?
A work-around might be to bring your individual music clips into Audacity one at a time and Export As Wav... to bring them into conformance.
Then bring the "clean" files back into Audacity for actual editing and production.

Re: Effect problem
