Downloading the User Manual

Hi.

I d/l the user manual unzipped it, the instructions said to click on the "index.htm" file to open. Out of all the icons on the page, even checking the two folder icons there isn't any such file. What did I do wrong?

I want to print the whole user manual out. Please if anyone knows how let me know too!!

Are you downloading:

as instructed at:
http://audacityteam.org/help/documentation

If so, you need to click on index.html as the documentation page says. That page is there - I just checked.

Printing each html page is a bit of a chore. It would be better to download the manual in PDF:
http://www.gaclrecords.org.uk/audacity-manual-1.2.pdf

then you can print it at one go. To read PDFs you need Adobe's reader:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Or if you can manage with just the reference (excluding the tutorials), go here:
http://audacityteam.org/onlinehelp-1.2/reference.html

and use the Print function of your web browser to print the reference out (which is there complete on one page).

Thank you. The PDF file is exactly what I was looking for. Now I can print that. That file needs to be the the Audacity download page.

BTW, the links were broken if you clicked on the opened page in the Index.htm file.

Hi All, I've just tried the links that Gale stated in his mail for downloading the Audicity Manuals and it doesnt seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or is the links down please?
Any ideas as to how I download the manual?
