8 bit mono output

I am trying to record my voice to upload to my VoIP system to use in my call tree. The recording MUST be 8 bit mono. How do I make that happen!?!

I appreciate any help you have to offer.

"File->Preferences->File Formats"
Set the "Uncompressed Export Format" to 8 bit.
