Recording Amplitube 3 using Audacity

Post by NoQuarter23 » Mon May 03, 2010 3:51 am

I want to record what I play on my guitar through Amplitube 3 using Audacity. I'm not very computer savvy so I need some help. I am running Vista. My guitar is plugged into the Stealth Pedal, which is connected to my comp with a USB cable. I tried going to Audio I/O in Audacity but can't figure out how to get it to record what I'm doing in Amplitube. This is where I'm at. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using Amplitude in Stand Alone mode, you need to use the built-in recorder.
If you want to use it in VST mode, you need to use a VST host that supports real-time effects. Audacity does not support real-time effects. According to Google, Amplitude will work as a VST effect in "Krystal" (a free recording program).
