Hi,

I'm using windows xp, recording from a mixer record out, through a Behringer U-control uca202 soundcard into a usb port.

When I record the track is mono and It wont allow me to select stereo. Only one (I think left) input shows recording. Sound isn't great.

Click Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O, and check that "Channels" are set to 2(Stereo).

If you monitor the sound using headphones at the UCA202, does it sound OK?
