I have all of the data but when I click file nothing loads

I have a 1.2 gig concert recording and when I click the .aup file to open it audacity opens but no sound is shown. I just have a blank audacity document. I have ALL of the sound clips and when placed into audacity each is like a 6 second clip of the show. This is a problem with both my mac and windows computers. Is there any way to get all of the data onto one track sequentially?

The "sound clip" files as you call them, need to be in a folder named "filename_data" and that folder needs to be in the same folder as the "filename.aup" file.

(obviously replace "filename" with the name you used)
