Hello, I have connected an audio interface to the program, so I connect the guitar and the headphones to the audio interface and I can hear me and I can record with Audacity but once I have recorded one track, then when I want to record a second track I can't hear the first one when I push record button, but if I have push play I can hear it.. I don't know if the problem is clear..
I'd really appreciate your help!
Thanks!

Re: Listen when recording
not every pc/sound_card can do it.
you did not tell us any details about what you are using.
if you can pick stereo mix in audacity instead of mike or line then it should work.
you may need to go into start>settings>controlpanel>soundstuff andor your_soundcard to enable stereomix to be seen.
if you get it working you may need to adjust the latency option in audacity also.

Re: Listen when recording
Audacity 1.2.6
Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O tab
Enable (tick) "Play other channels when recording new one.
Audacity 1.3.12
At the bottom of the "Transport" menu, enable (tick) the "Overdub" option.
Audacity 1.3.12 is recommended. It has very many improvements over the very old 1.2.6 version.
