Just a quick add-on to my last question...

When I stop recording the LP, and just listen, the echo goes away.

What the heck have I done???

Hi Rob,

to save me reading through three pages of posts: I most have been suggested by now - have you upgraded to Audacity 1.3.12 yet?

Check near the bottom of the Transport menu and ensure that Software Playthrough is not selected.
