I've looked through FAQ and I've googled gender changing plugins for audacity but I have yet to find anything. Could someone tell me if there is a free plug in to change voice gender? I've tried pitch lowering but the effects just aren't very good. I'm trying to change a voice from female to male for a school project. Any help would be great

If you want to use a VST effect, use Audacity 1.3.12. Audacity does not support all VST effects, but support in the 1.3 version is very much better than in 1.2.6
