Recording problems with mic.

Hello there,

I am having quite the issue...

When i first installed the 1.3.12beta version for windows vista it worked just fine.
I went to do a second recording and the program no longer records from the mic.
My pc acknowledges that it's there... but the program does not.
What do i do?

You need to be compulsive with supplying information. Your USB microphone made by who? Model numbers? Windows Vista on your Lenovo Laptop computer?

Pretend I'm going out with a credit card to buy your system, although you don't have to get down to number of bytes of RAM.

I have just about the same problem. I'm not very good at computers but I bought my desktop about a year ago so it's not old and I have Vista. My mike is also brand new but the one with mic and headphone in one.
I heard somewhere that one reason might be the sound-card (I don't know if that's the name of it, but it is in swedish:P). Do you know anything about that? If you do, do you know how it can be fixed?

If you still have problems, please try to be as specific as possible. Other forum users cannot see your computer, so unless you are very clear and include lots of details they will not know what you are talking about.
