I have a huge problem! When I play back a recording there is a delay with the intrumentals and the vocals that i just recorded!!! This is exptremely annoying! It always comes out like a couple of seconds off and the whole track is ruined!! I've tried just aligning that tracks myself but That does no get me the type of quality that I want. Also this doesn't happen all the time. I've recorded trakcs that were perfect before! This problem just comes up on its own. Any suggestions?

That particular delay (of the three you can have) is fixable. It's called "latency" and you can adjust it for perfect recordings -- in Audacity 1.3.12. Audacity 1.2 has no adjustments.

You can safely put both on your machine but only use one at a time. Audacity 1.3 projects will not open in 1.2.

Not since your computer hard drive started to fill up? You can get into serious problems by filling up your hard drive. Have you ever defragmented it? That can cause problems, too.
