Hi all,
had 2 recorded tracks (talks) merged into single mp3 accidentally. As I no longer have the original files I was wondering if there is a way to reverse engineer the mp3 to separate them again. Mp3 is a mono mix if that makes a difference. Tx
Possible to split MP3 file into original tracks..

How are they combined? End of 1 to the beginning of 2? That's pretty simple. If both voices are playing at the same time on a mono mixdown. You're dead.

All of the fancy-pants sound management tricks work from a stereo track. No stereo, no tricks.
You can't separate instruments or voices in this case from a mixed performance.
