Not only is the drop-down menu greyed out so that I can't select the "What U Hear" option, just trying to record at all gives me the error "Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate."
I have the correct input device selected (sound card), and I think I have the correct sample rate (44100 Hz), so I have no idea what I should do here.
Can't record sound from speakers (or anything else, really)

The drop down list is just for "convenience", but unfortunately some sound card drivers do not support this feature, so you will have to use the Windows Mixer (in the Sys tray near the clock) instead.spikey4000 wrote:Not only is the drop-down menu greyed out so that I can't select the "What U Hear" option...
Are you able to record with Windows Sound Recorder?spikey4000 wrote:I have the correct input device selected (sound card), and I think I have the correct sample rate (44100 Hz), so I have no idea what I should do here.
