no power to new usb turntable

I've been playing with this thing for an hour & I can't get the power button to work on my IT turntable, even tho' it's plugged in to the outlet & the usb is connected. Any ideas? I really want listen to & record this vinyl! Thanks.

The power button should work whether or not the turntable is plugged into the computer. Plugging it into the wall should be enough. Did you save your receipts?

how do you know that is *is* your device?

are you sure there is power from the outlet ?
is there a wall switch to activate the power where you plug in?
is a circuit breaker tripped?

is there a light or anything on your device that should light?
is the bulb burned out?

your device may be broken. take it back .

Been there, done all that. I just didn't want to consider that it might be broken.
