Dear Mr. Fiddle,
You had me upload the 1.3.11 version of Audacity for my USB turntable, but after I made a recording and wanted to export it as a MP3 file, the software asked me for the associated lame_enc.dll file.
I looked around for it, but couldn't find it. Do you know where I can download this file?
Or, can you send it to me?
Awaiting further instruction......you makin' a career out of this forum?
Thanks! -Lare
lame_enc.dll file for version 1.3.11?

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

You can find it here. Just follow the Instructions.
Edit: After it's Installed, If your using Win XP, Open Audacity, In the Tool-Bar, Click on "Edit > Preferences then Libraries. Where it says "MP3 Library", Click on Locate. If it hasn't already found it, go to "C:Program FilesAudacitylame_enc.dll". It's as Simple as that.
