I SELECT but CUT / COPY etc still not active!

I SELECT but CUT / COPY etc still not active!

Can someone please help?

I imported an audio file, saved it as an .aup

I can play the file, and select parts of the audio ...

but I cannot CUT / COPY or SAVE THE PROJECT ???

Could this file be corrupted? or ???

Most actions in Audacity require that Audacity is in STOP mode. You can not edit while Audacity is Playing, Recording or Paused.
