I WOULD LIKE TO EXPORT TRACKS FROM RECORDS DIRECT TO ITUNES WITHOUT CREATING AUDACITY-ONLY FILES.

HOW DO I DO THIS?

I do this by exporting a set of Wav files importing those into iTunes and ten using iTunes to convert the WAVs into Apple's AAC format. See this sticky thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 28&t=18759

Make your recording then from the File menu select "Export as WAV". You can then add the WAV file to iTunes.

Please try to avoid typing all in capitals.
Common rules for e-mail[7] and USENET such as avoiding flamewars and spam are constant across most mediums and communities. Another rule is to avoid typing in all caps or grossly enlarging script for emphasis, which is considered to be the equivalent of shouting or yelling.
