I WOULD LIKE TO EXPORT TRACKS FROM RECORDS DIRECT TO ITUNES WITHOUT CREATING AUDACITY-ONLY FILES.

I do this by exporting a set of Wav files importing those into iTunes and ten using iTunes to convert the WAVs into Apple's AAC format. See this sticky thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 28&t=18759

Make your recording then from the File menu select "Export as WAV". You can then add the WAV file to iTunes.
