Audacity Forum

Hey,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use Audacity to capture audio in stereo format? In the past when I've tried to capture audio, like a song, it always records in mono.

Any ideas?

Audacity as it comes OOTB is set up to default to mono recording. All you need to do is go to Edit>Preferences>Audio I/O and set the Channels dropdown to 2 (Stereo).
