No volume after loading files! ...and Audacity Beta, one file at a time? When did Audacity stop allowing multitrack productions? Is Audacity going offline? Would you like the real newswires and newsservices to know... if they are not filing for immediate Federal Government actions against Audacity for Wire fraud!

...Audacity, well within one year ago, featured opening the Audacity Stable window and work within more than one Audacity Stable window whilst playing your loaded audio files in the other Audacity Stable windows! ...are you guys of Audacity subversives, not happy... discontented... malcontents?! ...sore losers from the end of WWII still fighting for Italy against the U.S.? ...then go offline! ...there are many inexpensive PC DAWs from reputable, reliable manufacturers such as sony!

That's not much information to go on. Are your speakers plugged in? What sound card are you using? What operating system are you using? What settings do you have in Audacity and in your computer sound card control panel/mixer? Need much more information if you want some constructive suggestions.

No. Audacity 1.3.x does multi-track productions better than ever.
OnlineComposer wrote:Is Audacity going offline?
No. What makes you think that it is?

WTF are you talking about?
OnlineComposer wrote:...Audacity Stable for windows xp no longer plays back Volume of loaded files!
Not enough information.

Audacity is not going offline.

In Audacity 1.3.x, go to "Edit > Preferences > Devices" and check that the "Playback Device" is set to the sound card device that you are using. If still no sound, go to your sound card control panel/mixer and enable the output that you are using.

That would not be my recommended method of working. It is generally better to handle a multi-track project within one instance of Audacity.

I may be.
OnlineComposer wrote:not happy... discontented... malcontents?!
I'm quite happy.

I'm too young.

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM ! You have asked a question without any supporting information, expecting that someone will magically know the answer, and then get increasingly angry when no-one came and fixed it for you ! Your very first post appears to be rather confrontational, and then increasingly so with each follow up post. Either you are deliberately "Trolling", or you have no idea how to ask a question on a forum. This article explains how to ask questions on forums. http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Audacity is a community project. The people who answer questions on this forum are Audacity users that want to help other Audacity users. If you are having a problem and you want help with it, there are people here that want to help, but you have to help as well. We need information - we can't see your machine or what you are doing. So if you still want assistance, please start a new topic and I'll delete this one. (give plenty of detail about your equipment and what you are doing - too much information is better than not enough).
