Audacity Forum

i just installed 1.2.6 on my Renewed Hard Drive (Vista) and i notice that the EFFECT COLMN is greyed out. Why is this so. When i ran Audacity on my previous drive (w/ VISTA) the Effect column worked fine. I use it to change TEMPO.

Any thoughts on this issue

On Vista you should be using Audacity 1.3.11 (due to be updated next week to 1.3.12)

Effects are only available when Audacity is Stopped. They are not available in Play, Record or Pause mode.
