I'm trying to dowmload audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows at this address and viewed the requirements for Windows 7, which my new computer is more than sufficient. But click on download and it doesn't go.
See below a recommended 1.3.11 installer download but it seems to read for Vista, XP, 2000 becuase after that says see Windows 7.
Am I just not understanding this, and I need to download this installer?

I agree that the wording on the download page is a bit confusing.
Go to: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows
Where it says;
"Recommended Download
* Windows 2000/XP/Vista: Audacity 1.3.11 installer (.exe file, 10.9 MB)"
That is the version that you need.
Where it says:
"See further information about Windows 7 and Vista."
That is giving you additional useful information about Audacity on Windows 7 that is worth reading before you install: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... ndows_7_OS

Thanks, I think I kind of figured that out in the end, so I'll do that today, am I going to have alot of problems using Audacity with Windows 7 or because I've got a new computer with more than necessary specs, it should work out and then obviously when they update, I'll download newer versions.
