Does anyone know why that everytime i record something, it goes regular speed... then speeds up a bit... Im playing with a backtrack that I imported. Also, the sound kind of sounds fuzzy and stuff. my input volume isnt really high, but i dont think thats the problem. I think it has something to do with my sound card. I have a Realtek sound card. Is that good? do you guys recomend any good sound card?

Thanks

No, that's not a very good sound card. Those Realtek and Soundmax chips are built onto motherboards and suffer from a few inherent problems due to being close to lots of high frequency components and having to share a power supply with all the other components on the motherboard.

When you hear your audio speeding up and slowing down, is it the audio you've imported doing this, or the audio you've recorded?

If it's the imported audio, then the problem is with the audio file.

If it's the recorded audio, then the problem is with the hardware and you probably won't be able to fix it. Check our "Recording Equipment" forum for some sound card recommendations.
