drop down menu are all ????????????

i've used this program in the past and when it works its great

i've just installed it on this laptop it worked once great! when i opened it up for a second go same ole proplem lots of ??????? all over it and no functional use

does any one have any info as to why this has done this, and why it does it regardless of the machine

this is wholly a software problem with audacity

To change the language in 1.2.x use: Edit>Preferences - Edit is the second command in from top left, then Preferences is the bottom selection in the drop-down list.

Then you need the Interface tab, which is the third one in from the right.

Language is selected from the only drop-down list in the dialogue box - use this to change to English.
