Help with recording from a mic

Post by worlddictator85 » Mon Feb 08, 2010 2:02 pm

I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with.

How can I record just from the microphone and not the speakers as well?

Also, It seems like my mic volume is somehow tied to the master volume on my pc, when I turn up the mic volume, the master volume goes up as well. Any idea on how to fix this?

Thank in advance.

If you love recording from the Internet, then you probably changed the Windows Control Panels to record from "Mix-Out." You can't record Mix-Out and a local microphone at the same time -- at least not well.

Set the panels to record from the microphone only.
