Audacity Forum

I recentley bought a turntable with audacity disk, I have followed the sparse instructions and cannot get it to record onto my pc. I cannot find the "USB Audio Codec" in the dropdown box like it says in the instruction manual. Please can someone tell me what I need to copy my vinyl to my PC???????

Download the latest 1.3.11 version of Audacity from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/
Use the official Audacity manual (available in the Help menu) rather than the instructions that were included with the turntable.

Thanks Steve that is brilliant. Maybe I'm a dope but didn't know which version to use, Stable or Beta so I've used Beta. Hopefully it will work. I may be back for more advice lol. Thanks again, Vince
