Missing menu items

I am using 1.2.6 and do not have menu items for Show Clipping or Find Clipping. Do I need a plugin for these functions and if so where can I get it?
"Show Clipping" is only available in Audacity 1.3.x
There are also many other benefits to Audacity 1.3 and it is well worth the upgrade.
Audacity 1.3.11 is the officially recommended version for several operating systems, and many of us long term users would recommend it for all operating systems from Windows XP onward. (it is not compatible with Windows 98, though there is a special version for Win 98 for anyone that really needs it).
