Audacity on Windows Vista

I'm having some trouble changing to a WaveOut or wherever it is where it takes the audio from the internet and not your speakers. Its just not letting me click on it. And i'm only having this problem on my laptop which is a Windows vista cause my Hp works fine. And i was wondering if it justs doesnt work on Vista or if i need to download something else to get it to work
