Hi All,
I'm using Audacity to transfer audio cassette tape to my pc and save them to mp3. I've connected my cassette deck to the microphone input on my sound card. I'm able to record fine except that i have a lot of clipping that i want to remove using the input level, but the input level is stuck to maximum and i can't adjust it. So far i've been doing my recording with those setting and doing a normalize before saving to mp3 but it seems that there is still distorsion when i'm listening to my mp3's.
Any idea why i can't adjust the input level?
I'm using Audacity 1.3.11 Beta on windows Xp Pro Sp3.
