drumagog plugin w/audacity?

Hi. I'm running audacity on Windows 2000 (long story). Everything seems to be ok. But I would really like to use Drumagog drum replacement program with Audacity. Since Audacity has the vst enabler, I've been told it should work. But I can't get mine to work. I don't know if I didn't install the enabler correctly, or if I didn't install drumagog correctly, or if they just aren't compatible. Any suggestions?

VST support in Audacity is rudimentary at best. Many plugins don't work at all in Audacity. I believe this is due to legal problems with the VST standard.

I'm guessing that Drumagog is one of those plugins that won't work. Especially since it relies on external samples to replace the sounds in a track.
