Last night I recorded a unique concert from radio. While saving the track the program crashed. During the start of the next session Audacity asked whether or not to remove old files left after the last session. After my ‘No’ I found out I had become the proud owner of 2080(!) .au files. Each mono, 6 seconds long.
How do I stitch those together again?

Re: restore problem
This has come up before. Disaster Recovery has gotten some serious attention in the next versions of Audacity.
