Issue: When exporting multiple (using labels) I am getting the 1st bar or so of the succeeding piece right at the very end of the track being played & again at the beginning of the next track.
I recorded a series of my cassettes using Audacity 1.2.6 - I did NO recordings using 1.3.10. Every one of those recordings that I exported using 1.2.6 worked perfectly -- it was only when I used 1.3.10 for the export multiple that I experienced the problem.
Process: After recording, between each piece, I generate 2 secs of silence then insert the label immediately before the start of the next piece (there may be a mSec between the label before the piece actually starts). I then export multiple in both WAV & MP3 format.
I have concluded that the problem has nothing to do with the burn to CD process because the anomaly is on both the Audacity WAV & MP3 files if played directly in iTunes or WMP.
Is this a known issue when mixing recording in 1.2.6 & & labeling and exporting in 1.3.10 --- I know that I could revert to only using Audacity 1.2.6 but for one of my recordings I cannot get past the 2nd tune in the labeling process before 1.2.6 "STOPS RESPONDING" & I have to close it down, this problem on the same Audacity recording does not happen with 1.3.10 or 1.3.11
Assuming I have to now use 1.3.11 to export multiple is there a better process to use, than the one I'm using, to avoid the problem I'm having such as putting the Label mid-way in the 2 sec silence segment as opposed to at the very beginning of the succeeding piece.
Thanks

Re: Export Multiple Track Transition Anomaly
This is a known bug in 1.3.10, where each track is extended by up to 5 seconds on Export Multiple.
It is fixed in 1.3.11, and Export Multiple will work properly.

Re: Export Multiple Track Transition Anomaly
Thanks for your reply ...
I processed (Labeled & Exported to WAV & MP3) another cassette recording with 29 pieces on it using 1.3.11 and every one came out perfectly with no track end over-run.
Thanks for your help
