Downloading WAV files with artist and album title

I'm unable to find any path to export files to WAV with artist and album name to download to my iTunes library.
What is the process to create an attached page identifying the album title and artist so it can be identified in iTunes?

WAV files do not normally carry such metada - unlinke Apple's compressed AAC format or MP3.
Which begs the question: why are you putting WAV files in your library for? They occupy around ten times or mor space that AAC or MP3 ?

The instructions I downloaded off Adacity web site state to use WAV when exporting to Windows file to import into iTunes.
Are you saying I should be using MP3 or another format? Will that allow me to import artist, album title and songs with thte file? That's all I want to do.

Well personally what I do is to Export WAVs from Audacity and load those into my iTunes and get iTunes to convert them to AAC (AAC is reckoned to be better audio quality bitrate-for-bitrate than MP3 - so unless you need the platform portability of MP3 i.e. if you are not using an iPod for your portable device then I would recommend using AAC). I mange most of the metadata with iTunes - but somtime the Garcenote CDDB database helps out a lot by supplying metadata for me.
See this sticky thread I made about my workflow:
http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 28&t=18759
I'm also carefully keeping and backing up all the WAV files I make too - partly as backup - but I plan to use them in my portable device (currently 160b iPod Classic) when the storage on them gets
really big.
BTW can you please point me to where in the Audacity documentation it tells you to load WAVs into iTunes - I will want to have a look at that and possibly edit it - thanks.
