I cannot choose the mono on my track

Post by darsuperstar » Tue Jan 26, 2010 6:13 am

I just received a M-Audio interface for recording and when I plug up it only records on the left side. I was told to cure this problem choose mono on the track. I see it but it is very light and unable to choose. Like the other options are bold and this option is light. How do I make this option choosable?

Right idea, but looking in the wrong place.

From the main menu bar at the top:
Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/0
Set "Channels" to "1 (mono)"

If your audio interface has more than one mic input, make sure that you use channel 1 (left).
