Printing FFT chart

We use FFT and want to exchange fft patterns preferably by printing them. Some of us can do that by e-mailing printscreens but is there no simpler way to print the screen and send it in an e-mail?
Thanks for solving this problem

I don't know about the e-mail program that you are using, but with Thunderbird,

Take a screenshot by pressing the "Print Screen" key
Create a new e-mail message and press Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot.

I can't think of anything much simpler than that.

thanks stevethefiddle,
we are violinmakers and most of us use Outlook Express. For exchange off our measurements a print is by far the simplest way. We have als members with no internet connection.

If you open up MS Paint (or just about any other graphics application) you can use the "Print Screen" / Ctrl+V method - I agree that it's not as convenient as having a print feature in Audacity, but it's no great hardship either.

I use (and recommend) Paint.NET which is an excellent free paint program for Windows http://www.getpaint.net/
Using Paint.NET you can crop the image, resize it, print it or export it a number of formats.
