Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

SOLVED Time diplay at bottom of screen missing under Windows

Post by pricetech » Sun Jan 24, 2010 1:11 pm

I use Audacity under both Linux and Windows. In Linux I have a display at the bottom of the screen that shows me start time, end time, and duration for my selections. I don't have that under Windows and can't seem to find it anywhere.

What am I missing ??

Not in 1.2 it doesn't - are you using Audavity 1.3 on your Linux mac (it probably came that way with the distro) ?

So try upgrading to 1.3.11 on your windows m/c - you can get it from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows

I wondered if that was the case. I got pulled away from my computer to spend time with Wifey so I haven't had a chance to remote in to my Linux box and check the version. I'll do that now.

Thanks for the quick response.
