No Sound on some files (SOLVED)

Post by badgerdata » Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:32 pm

I have taken a number of wav files and converted them to audacity projects.

The only thing i did in the project was add a label track. The tracks played fine while they were edited.

Now I can't get the sound track to play back.

I checked the output and it is set to my speakers.

I have other audacity projects that will play as well as other wav files.

I am new to Audacity, not sure what to look for next.

Thanks.

You may have moved or deleted some of the data that the project was using. See here for how Audacity manages files: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/File_Management_Tips

Thanks for the help, it led me to the answer.

The files were on a remote computer with a drive G: mapped to it. I reconnected to the same computer but mapped drive Q: to it this time. The aup file was still looking in the old path for the other files it needed.
