Ok... let me try to explain this as simply as possible lol
I have a voice recording which lasts 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I am trying to mix in a guitar solo which is 30 seconds long. I mix in the guitar solo at 2 minutes and 20 seconds because I want it to fade in and continue playing and eventually fade out into another audio clip I will add in later. However, I add the mix in at 2:20 and it stops at 2:30... it doesnt continue playing, it just stops at the end of the original audio track. What can I do to achieve this? Once again, this is what I am looking for: Voice Audio (2:30) Mix Guitar Solo at (2:20) Guitar Solo continues for 30 seconds and eventually fades out into another Voice Audio at (2:50) then solo completely fades out and Voice Audio continues at 3:00 on.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Mixing Help
If you have one or more tracks selected (highlighted) and then press "Play", only the highlighted section will play.
You can click once on a track to place the playback cursor without making a selection, and play will then start from the playback cursor position to the end of the recording.
Alternatively you can press Ctrl+A (select All) and then when you press Play it will play everything.
