Hi I hope someone can assist.

I have recently loaded audacity and all has worked well. I have hit a problem with exporting to MP format. I have downloaded lame and it is sitting in my program files directory but I can't seem to get audacity to use/point to it. I have tried associating the lame program with audacity but no luck?

It's mind-bendingly common for this to happen when your Audacity version and the lame version don't match. Either one (or both) could be wrong, Get the Properties, INFO, or About on everything and make sure you have the right software combination.
