Audio cassette won't record

I successfully recorded 2 tracks from an audio cassette player. Minutes later, I have been unable to record anything since with many tries. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I need help.

No-one here cans see your set-up or exactly what you are doing so you will need to give much more information.
